Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail.
So your first few weeks or even DAYS as a bonafide pharmacy intern are coming to a close!
It’s been a bit of organised chaos lately!
With 2023 coming to a close with the last minute Safety-Net patients getting through the door, and people getting their Reg24s before they set off on their holidays, to the last minute Webster pack that needs to be changed on the night of New Year’ Eve…

THE GREAT RESET.
December can be tough, however, you pulled through! Now that you need to congratulate yourself for! Good work mate!
Now that we are well and truly into 2024, we can treat the pharmacy in January as a time to recuperate and to RE-ORGANISE.
At my pharmacy, we treat January as a the “GRAND RESET” to optimise processes, streamline workflows and educate new or RE-educate existing staff on common medicine and counselling skills.
Make note of what worked in 2023, what didn’t work, what can we do better, HOW do we do better, and sit down with your key staff and PLAN!
